Surprising!
This little place was completely on point from the calamari to the drinks to our server (dang...forgot her name) she was excellent with a quick wit & great sense of humor!
Yes it is bar food but the food was on point!
Since we live close now this is our local joint -

I have been stopping into Leatherhead Pub for a while, whenever I pass through Egg Harbor area. I was always impressed with the looks of the food there. Everything always looks delicious. The pizzas always look exceptionally good. So today I stopped by during happy hour (Monday-Through Saturday, 3-6.) The barmaid informed me that 12 inch pizzas were $5. I couldn't resist, so I got a sausage pizza. It tasted as good as it looked. They use real slices of good sausage, not sausage "topping." The crust is really standout. It has a really nice, light texture. Light, crispy, airy, and satisfying. I'm not sure I've had crust like that before, but they've really got it perfected.
Otherwise, everything on the menu looked good. Place is clean, service is friendly, nice clientele. I always enjoy myself here. It's a shame it's so far away.
I highly recommend. -

Here I go again with another update and I think I'm starting to realize that it's not me but a complete lack of consistency from this place. I was really seeing improvement the last time I updated the review. The service was better and I still enjoy those Shrimp burger sliders. This time however I have to complain about the service once again. It started out well enough but slowly went down hill as the night progressed. I asked about a drink and she forgot to find out the information on it. Toward the end of the night she disappeared for a long time and never offered us dessert. We had to quickly get the check as friends of ours were leaving to see a movie. The food was also inconsistent. I was happy with my sliders as mentioned before, but my wife and my friend both had issues with their meals. My friend ordered the flounder special and thought the flavors were very bland. My wife ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which she thought was good, but he "spicy" slaw was completely bland. She said it tasted like milk was added to cabbage. My final issue was with the beers. I've never had a flight and a full pour taste so bad. I'm really curious when the lines were cleaned last, because they all had the same off putting after taste.
If it wasn't so close to where I live I'm not sure how often I would go back. But they do have good entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays and I do really like some of the food. However, it's really annoying that they can't be consistent. -

Delicious vegan food!
When we first sat down, we were disappointed to hear that the hummus appetizer was vegetarian from the added cheese. Instead we ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice. IT WAS SO GOOD! I wish I knew how to make it! It was perfectly spiced and filled with flavor.
For dinner, I had the edamame falafel. It was delicious. Very spicy but amazing. The edamame flavor was light and fresh. I loved the tasty sauce and slaw as well. I would love to eat this again. -

Finally got a chance to visit on a cold rainy Sunday evening. This place is very much needed in Egg Harbor and being so close to the White Horse Pike it's an easy in and out. Very impressed with the redecoration of this old fire house. Very open and clean with fire relics around the room.
We ordered four different menu items. Me, some wings for the table and nachos. Got the wings dry since not familiar with their sauces. Glad I did because wings were very crisp and well cooked, but sauces were so different. Got house Buffalo sauce and another I don't remember. I loved the Buffalo sauce and everyone else liked the other sauce. Nachos missed something and I think it was the fact they used black beans instead of refried beans. Everything else about it was good.
Fish tacos were good, but plate and amount was lacking. Steak sandwich was outstanding with fries. Glad my wife got it so I can eat part of it tomorrow. Another guest got the Salmon over rice. Looked good and she ate all of it.
Plenty of beers at the bar with many specialties. Glad they have the Coors and Miller Lite since that's my comfort zone.
